American born saxophonist and vocalist Larry Price will be leading a trio which includes Lasse Hirvi on piano and Eero Tikkanen on bass.
Larry Price has lived in Finland for 8 years now and has and continues to enjoy a thriving musical career. Mr. Price has lived in Lappeenranta but now lives in Helsinki. Larry Price has performed in 15 countries spanning 3 continents and enjoys an international flavor when it comes to music.
Lasse Hirvi is a veteran all around pianist. Lasse and Larry first met in the recording studio while doing a recording session for Bianca Morales. They have also worked together at the Helsinki City Theatre. Mr. Price is very happy to have Lasse on board and is looking forward to the collaboration.
Eero Tikkanen is a talented up-and-coming young bassist with whom Mr. Price has never performed but is most certainly looking forward to the experience. Mr. Tikkanen comes highly recommended and therefore is a welcomed addition to the group.
The trio will be doing some original material as well as some standard
songs. Mr. Price promises a evening filled with what he calls "That
Healing Feeling".
